"MELTING THING"
There is this Texas song that I have heard on the radio one rainy
morning while on my way to work. It talks
about aging forty years young man who sells his modest car, buys
a Porsche and seeks return to his wild days. A young
"melting thing" is sitting next to him while he lives once again
his wild dreams. I do know what the melting thing
looks like as I too had my days of wild madness.
There are girls who fit that image and these are of the highest
price. As a matter of fact this web features some
models that are exactly like that.
Featured in this editorial model could easily bring any dreams
back to our lives, but time goes forward without mercy and we
can only smile, close our eyes and smile. As usual
the best image from the set

"CLASSIC POSES"
It is not the first time when I want to produce a presentation of classic possess that are being used by photographers. I will do that inside
www.Van-Art-Studios.com
In the past I attempted to build such a collection and it resulted in
an
unfinished product that I have put on the back burner. You are welcome to take a pick
at this unfinished and abandoned at this time page -

In presenting many models, photographers resort to the same
poses to which models are molded. I call theses
"Classic Posses" because most of great photographers used them.
Today's outstanding image link for this short editorial is linked to
one of these well captured classic poses. It is a
graceful and elegant pose where the beautiful feminine lines are
the main focus -

"AN OLD ADVISE"
One full day is left before the end of 2007. While
in San Antonio Texas, the day before I saw a photographer woman
diligently positioning herself behind the decorative water
fountain while attempting to make an artistic image of famous
"Alamo". The effort and attention to details were
obvious, however, the equipment she was using was an
average small personal camera. This scene
absorbed me immediately because I saw someone like myself trying
to do the best with what is available. The equipment
that she was using could not possible compete with my equipment
but the level of her enthusiasm could easily matched mine if not
exceed at that moment. Who knows - maybe the image
she made that day will outclass many of these made by
professional photographers. The message of this
short editorial is - "do the best with what you have".
One thing will lead to another resulting in progress being made.
This famous saying is not of my design as it was invented by one
of former USA presidents'.
In 2008 we will continue to do the best with what we have available.
We will make progress as we get access to more interesting
images and sources. Sometime in mid 2008 expect to
start seeing more of Van-Art own images as we have ambition to
become an entity of its own while still partnering with the
best. The link provided to an outstanding image is a
demonstration of first class images that are available to us for
your artistic enjoyment. -

"BUSY TIME"
The concept of this web is to combine visual arts with
information, and editorials under one roof. This approach is
not new as Playboy already has been doing that for years. But
Playboy is to mild and has to change in order to maintain its
superiority on the market. Van-Art is a bit to spicy in some
ways. This is because there is not enough time to produce
enough of intellectual resources while maintaining our visitors
actively engaged in daily review of our web. To let you
know we have regained our contacts with New Orleans artists and
as we work on this Van-Art web we began to re-design our New
Orleans web
www.Spring9.com as
well. There is a new page that has a pleasant format
and incorporates some webmaster and Photoshop tricks that we
have learned. It is not completed all the way but
you can take a pick if curious -

The link provided to an outstanding image
this time is one of the most beautiful representation of a very
classic pose in nude photography. -

"DIFFICULT CHOICES"
If you have to choose one image from a poor set of images
there is no problem. But if the set contains 4-5 great images
the task may become frustrating. Although review of good
material is rewarding, I get awfully tired and distort while
choosing the best image from such set. It may sound strange but
in many instances I just give up and write Great next to the
file name. This usually means that I am unable to make my mind
and will have to come back to this again in some later time. To
illustrate my point I am providing you with an example in which
you may participate. The thumb on the left is the image that I
think could be the best choice. The three thumbs on the right
lead to three other choices from the same set. Which one would
you choose? And finally and honestly the best one from the set
is this one -

"PURE ART CANDIDATES"
The image on the left has been selected by me as Pure Art image.
The set from which the image was derived contains some other and
equally great images. There is no really any order
to the madness of deciding what is good and what is not.
Each of us could pick different image and most likely the choice
would be equally justified. On the right there are
three other great images from that set. I support my choice with the
following arguments. There is a definite and
stunning contrast with what is in the foreground versus what is
in the background. The image transitions from a
sleep and peace to a provocative and well enticing fruit of life
ready to be consumed. That contrast is what provoked
me. The most
interesting image from the set is this one (in my humble
opinion) -

"CHANGING THE FOCUS"
After three days of holiday travel it
was time to resume daily work. My art partners provided 45
models presentations that I had to process. One set by Femjoy.com
stood up with its enticing arrangements and harmony of colors.
Images were outstanding and shouted Use us for short editorial
- please. I viewed each image and enjoyed the talents of the
photographer that created them. Yes I will use the images to
create this short editorial. But sometime later something felt
not right. Although I have reviewed all images I did not
remember the details of the model. The essential body port of
the model was not remembered. It appears that the colors and
arrangements absorbed all of my attention. How does she really
look like? I returned to view the images again. Oh yes, she
looks great I verified.
