New Short Editorial - I added new Short Editorial on Model of the Day page.

During the recent visit to Brenham Texas we stopped at the local recreational area park. There was little to enjoy other then walking trails. Yet inside the welcome center hidden from the view and hanging in the corner there were three interesting artworks that caught my eye. The idea was quite innovative to me. The subject image played a secondary role while the borders were truly the subject of the pictures. The frame area was twice as large as the small image inside. The frame was the image and the image itself was irrelevant. What a great idea. I must try this kind of display on Van-Art webs. The image of the model would be mare excuse to produce spectacular and elaborate frames. In my first attempt I have failed miserably as I was impatient and in need to see results immediately.
The results are presented to you in my first short presentation called ‘Texas Frames – Austin”
I will produce more such presentations but next time I need to slow down and enjoy my work.

Our Library of Special Weekend Presentations is steadily growing. This weekend I invite you to take a look at yet another completed project. It was almost two years ago when I began collecting the needed pieces for the project. It all began with File CL5 where the featured model resembled Celine to the extent that it amazed me. I wrote next to image #14 - Celine and went on with my work. Two months later I made another note - Paris. With time the list began to grow with names like Pamela, Posh, Jennifer, and Britney. It was time to make a presentation that is the subject of this week's Special Presentation.

The background alley is from Afton Villa in West Feliciana Parish in Louisiana USA. The villa burned long time ago but the famous for flowers Afton Villa Gardens remained and are now one of the most charming tourist attraction in St. Francisville area.

WAITING FOR THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL

There is a place in everyone's heart where everything is peaceful. In some of the images one can find a reference that touches these special for us places. In reviewing the images the longer one deliberates, the worse the results of the selection. It seams that once the download is done and the series of twenty or so images are waiting to be seen, reviewed and selected, it is best just to run through them until the heart scants - this one, this one - there was something great in that one - go back and see it again. We are still marching forward with a great hunger for great images but the end of this is in our sight. Soon 365 days of joy will be completed and the next step will take place. This next step is what we are waiting with great expectation. Instead of selecting everything that is great we will begin to add only the images that stop our heart. Only the images that we find to touch this special place in our heart. If you want to see what we mean by that - then see this example. This one touched our spot. - LINK

"MELTING THING"

There is this Texas song that I hared on the radio one rainy morning while on my way to work. It talks about aging forty years young man who sells his modest car, buys a Porsche and seeks return to his wild days. A young "melting thing" is sitting next to him while he lives once again his wild dreams. I do know what the melting thing looks like as I too had my days of wild madness. There are girls who fit that image and these are of the highest price. As a matter of fact this web features some models that are exactly like that. Featured in this editorial model could easily bring any dreams back to our lives, but time goes forward without mercy and we can only smile, close our eyes and smile. "WHAT DO YOU WANT - Part-1"

When I select images for this web, the prevailing thought is - will the visitor be kept stunned with the vividness of the images and are the images interesting? Well, I do not want to see arms and shoulders convoluted in an artificial twists. Instead I pay great attention to the backgrounds and the fact that each image should produce anticipated results. What results do I believe are expected by the visitor? I guess the visitor wants to see the bottom line. But then there is not much left to the imagination. On the other hand - I am confused a great deal and in dilemma of being the decider.
